He is the author of many journal articles on trading system design and market efficiency issues.

Mr. Lukac's research is focused on algorithmic systems that employ computer-assisted trading strategies based principally on technical and quantitative analysis. Historically his models use a wide spectrum of strategies including trend following, countertrend (mean reversion), momentum and pattern recognition approaches that have evolved and adapted over many years of research. Additionally, his work incorporates an innovative threshold level decision process.  These programs, coupled with ongoing research, attempt to optimize daily position signals, based on the relative duration of trends in multiple markets as well as market sectors. Market sector allocations are based on several criteria, including historical profitability, sector balance, and liquidity.
